November 2018
• 11/10 | LINK TO THREAD | Cuddle quest. Pyra and Akira, strangers that they are, decide to embark on this "quest". It starts out as a simple get-to-know you scenario in which two new characters share in their, well, newness. But then she begins sharing about her world and its beauty. Pyra cares for her world, but her sorrow and regrets about it are deep; Akira picks up on this and begins to cry on her behalf when he senses her sadness, and Pyra is moved by it. No one has shed tears for her before, and she didn't even tell him anything about herself! At the end of the thread, both realize that they do not have to be alone in this new, strange, colorless world.
• 11/23 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Wei Wuxian thread. Wuxian is frozen, Pyra basically feels bad enough to cry over him. She's reminded of how difficult it is to truly protect someone, and she's also reminded of just why it's important protect someone, if it means that silly, clever, and strong people like Wuxian are not hurt.
• 11/24 | LINK TO THREAD | Choubee is frozen, and she witnesses him being frozen in the process. She feels helpless to stop it, and is reminded that she is not strong enough to save everyone. It's heart-wrenching to see someone-- even a total stranger-- call her name before they completely go still.
• 11/24 | LINK TO THREAD | Akira finds Pyra frozen; Akira cries over her. She is surprised that he would cry over someone like her, but then again... he doesn't really know her. She feels guilty for making him so sad, but she's grateful that he's brought her back from being encased in ice. Later, they go diving into the lake.
December 2018
• 12/8 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Akira go to make a wish together. Pyra decides to be selfish for once and wish for something simple: a ramen shop. Akira wishes for her happiness. She's both touched and feels guilty.
• 12/07 | LINK TO THREAD | Nero, Wei Wuxian, and Tristan come caroling to Pyra's house. She is absolutely delighted enough to synchronize their abilities...
• 12/17| LINK TO THREAD | Nero and Pyra make a wish. Pyra makes a wish to end her existence. Nero helps by telling her to question why she would make such a wish. Pyra doesn't want to give an answer, and Nero hugs her. It's comforting, but not enough to make her want to take back her wish. She's sorry that she's not sorry, but she doesn't feel selfish for making it.
• 12/17 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra is worried about Wei Wuxian because he's acting oddly. It unsettles her, but in the end, they reconcile.
January 2019
• 1/1| LINK TO THREAD | Wei Wuxian and Pyra at the NYE thread. Wuxian lets Pyra braid his hair. Wei Wuxian calls her beautiful, promises that he won't go anywhere. She is completely baffled, but touched. She is also drunk.
• 1/1 | LINK TO THREAD | Another thread at the NYE party; Pyra takes him out into the night; he shows her his talismans, she shows him a bit of her own power-- something she's been hiding for quite a while from others unless absolutely necessary. This is the first time she's voluntarily shown it to someone just because-- just because she wanted to impress him and do something nice for him. While he's watching her display of abilities, he calls it beautiful, and it's the equivalent of calling her beautiful. She's pleased by this, more than she thought she'd be. She wonders what he would think of her otherself's abilities, for they're even more wondrous than hers, and she wishes she could tell him more... ultimately she can't, but the wish is there all the same.
• 1/7 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Wei Wuxian go demon-hunting. The demon takes on a form that Wei Wuxian recognizes. BUT THEN PYRA VANISHES because back in December, she made a wish to not exist. It causes some destruction and burns Wei Wuxian a bit. Pyra returns in shock, but reunites with Wei Wuxian. She's sorry that he was hurt by her attack, but more than that she's sorry that the wish did not end her permanently.... And she doesn't understand the new feeling of guilt that comes with it all the same. She's begun to care a lot enough about the world to feel guilty about wanting to be unmade.
• 1/9 *(but takes place on 1/8) | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra meets Xie Lian in the fairytale event. Two important things happen. One, they do fake!vows for the ~fairytale~ ending fake scene, and she finds his words touching. Two, she finds out about cultivation for the first time, that humans can become immortal.... and that he's a god. She wants nothing more than to make sure that this world has blessings from this god, so promises to build him a shrine.
• 1/8 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra meets Shen Qingqiu. She learns that not only is he a cultivator and that he has obtained immortality, but he is also a teacher of it. She is absolutely awe-struct by his goodness, impressed that he passes on his knowledge and helps others obtain it.... and utterly saddened that none in her world could have lived longer, plus wretched that she has killed so many. She feels terrible in his presence, unworthy.
• 1/9| LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Tristan fight demons, Tristan becomes incredibly injured when Pyra's "wish" to not exist is briefly fulfilled and she is not there to help him. Her first thought is why the wish did not last longer, the second thought is along the lines of "oh shit, he's really hurt", and the third thought is "this is my fault", as she feels guilty for having wanted to vanish when he needed her help. But being there or not being there, people still apparently get hurt around her regardless, and she doesn't know what to make of it. She asks for Mythra's aide; Mythra gives a hard, immovable no. Doing what she can, Pyra forces a small resonance with him, taking him into one of her memory-scapes. She learns more of Tristan's story, and she feels terrible for letting him be injured... and guilty for having to learn of him in such an artificially forced way, instead of organically. She's instantly sorrowful over the life Tristan has lead and how he had lost someone he loved so dearly. Pyra brings him to Maribelle save him.
• 1/12 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra goes to Akira once more in the woods, and eventually with her persistence he reveals that he is Akira. She's amazed at what he is, but also saddened that she is incapable of revealing more of herself to him in return; she's simply not brave enough like him... and that makes him all the more impressive and amazing to her. His heart is truly trusting and beautiful even if his outward appearance may be demonic. The thread continues into one of the fairy tales, Beauty and the Beast this time, and they share a dance. Feeling comfortable with him... and actually kind of disarmed that he is so very considerate despite his enormous amount of strength, she relaxes into the dance. And she actually answers a few more questions about herself! Wow wow trust levels are going up!
• 1/18 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Shen Qingqiu explore the castle together. A couple key things happen in this thread: (1) she wants to make him happy because she's seen that she's made him upset with her disregard towards her own health, he responds by saying "Just being with you is enough," so she decides to be closer to him. (2) They promise to watch over each other. (3) Most significantly she tells him about herself (without actually mentioning that the sword in question is her), as an attempt to give him hope for the future. He says that instead of destroying it, as she has wished for, he says he will give it to his disciple.... who is (most likely) going to decide to kill him with it, and it's like Shen Qingqiu has already made up his mind about it. Pyra tells him that's not okay, she becomes upset. They manage to come to some sort of renewed agreement to look out for each other (again). Mythra rejects his fate. (4) Then they talk about love and immortality, and Pyra covets how he is able to grow and live with fellow immortals. Shen Qingqiu reassures her that interacting with mortals is important too, and that their fleeting lives doesn't mean that their significance and impact is any less. She's privately known that already, but she's glad to hear the sentiment expressed by someone else. (5) Finally, Shen Qingqiu says "It will be", as if he's letting himself imagine a future where he isn't killed by his disciple... and that makes Pyra especially hopeful and happy for him.
• 1/18 | LINK TO THREAD | Archer/Tristan and Pyra reunite in the castle and as luck would have it, both of them hallucinate the other as someone dear to them. What ensues is a brief moment of happiness with the reunion of seeing someone who has been long gone. But it's a fleeting fantasy, and Pyra feels terrible for having to remind Tristan of his lost loved one. (Meanwhile, Mythra/Pyra is heartbroken at having seen Addam.) Both cursed, they decide to find a cure and help each other in the castle, making their way up to a tower because of a castle-covered-by-thorns is akin to a fairytale Tristan recalls. They talk about his past love, who Pyra wants to honor; it is for her, as well as others who care for Tristan, that makes it that much more important to protect him, and help him find happiness and peace. But when they get to the tower, nothing is there but an abandoned bedroom. Both exhausted and spent, they fall onto the bed. Pyra grieves for him still, because this is just another example of her being unable to help him, and now they're both succumbing to the curse. (Thread still pending tho'.)
• 1/18| LINK TO THREAD | Wei Wuxian and Pyra meet in the castle. They were actually just about to touch upon something Pyra really wanted to gauge Wei Wuxian on here when she brought up the topic of power corrupting, and that is actually the most important part of this thread. She wants to hear his answer, because it will determine just exactly how much she will reveal of herself to him, that is, if she can trust him further. Knowing bits of his past, she wishes to know what he would do if he had some sort of (potentially) limitless power, or if he'll fall to it. Mythra doesn't trust him completely; she is skeptical/cynical and partly sees him as an ambitious, presumptuous human biting off more than he can chew-- that's the tsun answer, which basically means she's worried. But oh no, the trap activated and she doesn't get an answer! Fallen into the coffin together, Pyra got the doki-dokis and was embarrassed out of her mind... but ultimately she's still grieving, so nothing came of it. Besides, she thinks he's in love with Maya?? Thread still pending.
• 1/18 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Xie Lian explore the castle together. Pyra begins to inquire about the nature of Xie Lian's divinity and what he's able to do, and she's (both Mythra and Pyra) are baffled and amazed at him; here is a god that actually actually answers the prayers of the people who beseech him-- he's so unlike any god she's ever met before. And, if she had to think about it, his goodness is what she thinks gods really should be like. How she wishes her own world would have someone like him. Moving on, she uses a prayer against him though: when he seems ill but tries to brush it off, she kneels before him as any human would do and prays to him to tell her what is wrong. It was quite a human experience for Pyra. Later on in the thread, Wei Wuxian and Xie Lian are "married" (not really, but Pyra assumes so). She doesn't exactly know how to feel about it at first, but in the end she's happy to see that the two of them making each other happy... but she wants to talk to Wei Wuxian about it later because what about Maya??
• 1/19 | LINK TO THREAD | Akira, Ryo, and Pyra go exploring the castle together. This is such a simple thread in its premise, but Pyra is absolutely happy for Akira that he has a friend of his own world with him. She's very impressed by Ryo's extensive knowledge and problem-solving skills... and even if he comes off a little brusque, he clearly cares for Akira, and Akira for him, which makes Pyra care for Ryo by extension. "This is a person I must also protect", she decides, and she's happy to be included in their friendship. Thread pending still.
• 1/18| LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Berkut encounter a castle trap together, but that's not the important part of the thread. It's actually their conversation afterwards; Pyra is impressed that Berkut and his people can take their difficult lives and terrain and turn it into a strength. Berkut's description of his kingdom's campaign to spread the empire to other lands< isn't lost on her, but then again who is she to judge what wars humans fight when she's caused so much damage being used in one herself? Not only that, but Berkut says here that he does not plan to lead a war that will lay waste to other lands.... As much as he reminds her of her "brother", both physically and his prideful attitude, Berkut is not someone who would opt to obliterate the world, and that makes him a good person in her book.
February 2019
• 2/4 | LINK TO THREAD | Quest thread with Shen Qingqiu. They chop down trees because they want to make tables/chairs for the wedding they're planning for Wei Wuxian and Xie Lian. But then somehow the topic turns into a conversation about love. Pyra believes that the two of them are strong and brave for joining each other in marriage through heartbreak and the possibility of either of them leaving Chroma at any moment. Pyra then tells SQQ that she loves him as well, because he's a part of the world. She's vague on her answer if it's okay for someone to love her back; internally she is torn and feels guilty. She gets him to say "It will be" once more, echoing their earlier threads and promises to each other. And then she gets to say "I love you" to him. THEN HE SAYS IT BACK, and it's the first she's heard it from anyone, ever, and that gets her... to.... well, she's not sure what to make of it, other than feel very, very happy at hearing those words.
• 2/9 | LINK TO THREAD | Heart event thread with Wei Wuxian. Pyra enters Wei Wuxian's heart, and after an initial lovely introduction with glowing lotus flowers, she soon becomes concerned for him. They meet a few people from his past, including Lan Wangji, who then proceeds to try to attack Wei Wuxian. Pyra tackles him to the ground, defending Wei Wuxian, and then asks him what's going on. Wei Wuxian's heart then takes him to another chamber where a bunch of cultivators are turned away from him. An arrow is shot at him, Mythra wants to come out and to save him-- but Pyra is afraid that she will be too destructive and injure his heart. In the end, Pyra takes the arrow meant for him... And, upon seeing Pyra struck, Wei Wuxian releases the Stygian Tiger Seal, calling up a legion of corpses to-- well, Pyra isn't sure why he did that, but to her it seems as if he was trying to destroy his own heart. He becomes colorless, Pyra is heartbroken that she could not help in. But in the end, she stands by her decision to not let Mythra appear. Because if she appeared, they are both certain that it could have been a lot worse.
• 2/9 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra enters Berkut's heart, and desperately tries to help him out of it. She becomes worried at the political situation back in his home world, but he shuts her down. The throne room however, isn't the key to leaving his heart, so they enter the gardens. Pyra offers him help, but he refuses. Still, she's willing to fight with him together. Somehow, a voice calls out to them, and then the heart fades. He manages to tell her about Rinea, his fiancee. She's surprised about that-- and then she realizes that he is not as cold as he comes off as. That his love for his fiancee is probably what saved them in the end.
• 2/9 | LINK TO THREAD | Heart Event With Choubee. Pyra enters Choubee's heart, and she's able to see his family. He at first wants nothing to do with them, but Pyra believes that how tense he seems actually means that he wants to see them again, as they had been all those years ago. Believing that this is the key to getting the both of them out of his heart, Pyra convinces him to open the doors once more, so that they might see his family. A younger version of Choubee runs past them to join his parents and Touma. Choubee asks if "Hey you think... they'd be happy knowin' that we survived?", to which Pyra responds yes. ...And then she realizes that the "family" she made for herself back in her world probably would be thinking the same for her, that they would want her to live. The realization is sobering and bittersweet.
• 2/9 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra enters Shen Qingqiu's heart. Pyra sees Shen Qinqiu in a dungeon, critically injured. She meets his old disciple, Luo Binghe. She tries to talk to him, but the system doesn't like that, and it resets her back down a bamboo path. Pyra then demands to see Luo Binghe again, only this time it's when she's supposed to push him into the Endless Abyss. Despite the System's protests, which she has come to believe is a facet of Shen Qingqiu's psyche, she decides to fall into the Abyss with him. Mythra gives the System the finger. Then the real Shen Qingqiu appears before her, and the System tells her that she must kill him. She refuses. (Thread still pending.)
• 2/16 | LINK TO THREAD | The fall out of Wei Wuxian becoming colorless. A week as passed, and Pyra is devastated and guilty for seeing him like this. He murmurs some things that she interprets as being ~vaguely~ interested/interactive with the world, and so she tell him about herself... which is a huge step. And what do you know, he regains his color and she's so happy that she realizes how deep her feelings go for him. Oh, sure, she loves everyone in Chroma, but what she feels for him goes beyond that. And now that she's realized it, she doesn't exactly know what to do given that she still believes that he is in love with Xie Lian. But then Wei Wuxian kisses her in this thread, and she doesn't know what to do with that information either??? She's so confused, but she knows her heart.
• 2/9 | LINK TO THREAD | Top level in heart event with Pyra, Connor, Choubee, and Maribelle. A cluster of threads, but they all have the same theme: instead of Pyra going into someone else's heart... it's others coming into hers. And others who are helping her out instead. She's reminded of things she'd rather not remember, but with her friends present and literally fighting her battles for her, she realizes that (1) she's not alone and (2) because of them, she must fight harder as well.
March 2019
• 3/4 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra, Tristan, and Nero decide to take on the new experience quest. What is that new experience? PAINTING. Who are they painting? TRISTAN. How is he posing? SHIRTLESS. That's right, Pyra's first experience with painting a live model involves the wonderful Tristan as a model and the amazing Nero as a fellow painter. Booze is involved, but already fun times are being had. After complimenting the man, they manage to convince for him to pose and push past his embarrassment; Pyra admires the both of them for their artistic talent.
• 3/1 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Shen Qingqiu go stargazing for whatever reason. He mentions that looking at the stars makes him feel like he's not alone. He then decides they should try naming stars for themselves. Pyra is honored by the suggestion, although she feels that-- since they are all from similar worlds and cultivators-- their stars should be the closest-set and together, and hers the odd one out. He says that they should all be together. Pyra relents, and they name their stars. Later on he mentions a few key words to her about brightness and a future, and a deeper personality-- her actual true form-- is stirred as a result. For that singular moment when it is, she appears truly at peace.
• 3/8 | LINK TO THREAD | Wei Wuxian and Xie Lian body swapped, Pyra goes to Xie Lian thinking it's WWX, and WWX pretends that he-- as XL-- is in love with SQQ. This actually upsets Pyra because she's been trying to move on from WWX, respecting his "marriage" with XL. And, actually, she's been doing a good job at it, too, since it's very easy to support others who are in love (or so she believes). But then not!XL mentions having feelings for SQQ, and.... her heart is a mess, basically. She could never compete with XL, let's put it that way, and she adores XL too much and wants to support XL in whomever he chooses. But wait! WWX then reveals that it is really him, and Pyra is relieved... And Because Pyra is Pyra, she brushes any sadness aside from being tricked at first to the side, simply happy to see WWX. Unfortunately, WWX (in XL's body) pulls out multiple poison-scales form his pockets. His heart stops, Pyra does fucking CPR on him, WWX comes to, they laugh about it, day ends.... and nothing about the wedding or feelings are resolved.
• 3/13 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Shen Qingqiu body swap. Shen Qingqiu apparently decided to pick up a bunch of poisoned scales, though, and so Pyra collapses. Mythra, hearing SQQ's thoughts, speaks to him and demands that he finds her and helps her. He does, instructing Pyra how to concentrate the poison-energy-whatever from within her and simply spitting it out. Meanwhile, Mythra and SQQ continue to chat; SQQ says mentions that he'd rather die that suffer a heinous amount of torture, and Mythra is upset about this even if she is understanding. She wishes she could actually meet him in reality...
April 2019
• 4/8 | LINK TO THREAD | A forest prompt with Choubee. The two head into the forest, Pyra finds a water source and Choubee immediately tests it to see if it's drinkable. He smiles, and gosh darn it, Pyra can't get mad at that (even if he was foolish)! As they continue through the forest to where the powers-that-be seemingly lead them, Choubee takes her hand to make sure she's close and, perhaps, wants to protect her. The two come a burial mound, and.. (thread still pending).
• 4/4 | LINK TO THREAD | Quest with Link. Link talks about Zelda leaving, opening up to Pyra a little more. What he tells her makes her quite sad, but she does her best to reassure him that he's not alone anymore.
• 4/5 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Akira reunite after he's brought back from the dead (backdated to last month). She's happy to see him alive and well, extremely pleased that the grimoire worked. She would give any amount of energy to anyone to ensure that others would live, even if it means sacrificing her life force to some strange power. Privately, Pyra is guilt-ridden that she just wouldn't have brought him back on her own (via her splicing her core crystal). She tells him that he's worth crying over.
• 4/9 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Damian meet for the first time. It's new CR to her! And she's rather impressed by the young man that he's been working on this church all on his own... and sad that he's been working on this church all alone. :( She wants to help him, and so she offers her help, calling him the boss, playfully, since he seems very well put together. That tease embarrasses him, just as she hoped for! But then she touches up on something more sensitive to him-- his mother-- and she quickly shifts tones to try to console and reassure him.
• 4/16 | LINK TO THREAD | Backdated to just after Pyra's wedding invitation post goes up. Wei Wuxian and Xie Lian find Pyra at the church, apparently deciding to tell her that they don't intend to get married. After first tyring to back out of telling her, they eventually do, they say they are to blame, aaaaand then WWX says that it's just a matter of it being not yet. Phew! Pyra has been under the incorrect impression and misunderstanding on her part that they were in love for months, even to talking to them both about it multiple times, and neither could tell her the truth. This gives Pyra the impression that they are afraid of her for some reason-- whether it be some sort of reaction she had, behavior, or action to them on their part-- that gave them the idea that they couldn't trust her with, well, simply talking to her. This makes her more upset at herself than anything else; Mythra chimes in reminding her that this is just the way things are for them, especially if WWX knows what they are (and, perhaps, has told XL about it). Pyra tries to reassure herself that she should still believe in her friends, even if they apparently (in her perspective!) don't trust her. Xie Lian reassures that they are friends and that they appreciate her, but Wei Wuxian notably behaves rather stiffly when he answers her next, making Pyra question things all over again. Is everything alright? ARE THEY ALRIGHT? SHE'S GUESSING NO. WHY AREN'T THEY ALRIGHT?! WHAT DID SHE DO WRONG NOW?! At last Pyra tries to reinforce that she wants to hang with them again.
• 4/19 | LINK TO THREAD | Event log with Tristan. Pyra, who does not have empathy at this point, is mean to Tristan enough to make him cry. She wants to cut out his heart and he.... PYRA IS A SIMPLE GIRL. Throw talks about friendship and love and she will come through. She changes her mind about killing him (thank goodness), and realizes that what she's been missing in her emotions is loving others.
• 4/20 | LINK TO THREAD | Same deal with the event, only with Akira. Pyra is mean to Akira, and actually-- in order to try to get him to fight back and kill her instead-- threatens Ryo. That finally gets Akira to act, and Pyra pins him down. Akira refuses to harm her, however, and eventually gets through to her... They end up promising each other that if either should lose control, they will stop them. Pyra says there is someone who would like to meet him, and leaves the mystery of that for later.
• 4/20 | LINK TO THREAD | Pyra and Shen Qinqiu, emotion-loss event. Basically, Pyra calls SQQ pretty damn pathetic and a loser. SQQ seems to reach out to take her crystal, which gets Pyra to react by attacking him in turn. It takes a lot of back-and-forth of Pyra continuing to call him pathetic for him to finally realize that something is wrong with Pyra... (thread still pending).
• 4/19 | LINK TO THREAD | Event thread with Berkut. So Berkut's.... attitude, pompousness, pride, etc., etc. remind her a lot of how Malos behaves. And Pyra, without her empathy, thinks that's... adorable. Because Berkut is just human, he's weak, he loves, and it's that love that is his greatest weakness. Specifically Rinea, which gets him to finally react in anger to her. Pyra seems to briefly snap out of it, but then the emotion fades. She recalls that she was originally just an observer of the world as it grew and as creation evolved in Universe 2.0, and that that is perhaps how it should be. It's not her role in this world to judge what is weak or strong (even if the real Pyra would say that love is indeed a strength).
May 2019
• 5/1 | With Akira. | Pyra apologizes to Akira for her behavior under the influence of Chroma for the latest event. He says he forgives her, naturally, and the two reconcile. She lets him enter Elysium, and Mythra introduces herself. They bring up the promise they made to each other in the church, that if either lose control, they will do what they can to stop the other. This reassures Mythra more, but she's not at the point to awaken completely yet. They renew their promise to each other, in a way, and embrace. Then shenanigans happen.
• 5/1 | With Tristan | Pyra takes Tristan to Elysium to meet Mythra. After flattering her in his typical knightly way, he tries to convince her to appear in the ~real world~, which she is hesitant to do, because she believes she is too dangerous. He promises to help her. But he wears down on her choice, so she gives him a quest to complete-- that he find something that is like a strand of her hair, made of ether-light, and bring it back to her. Mythra knows fully well that this is an impossible task, but she's curious as to see if he'll come up with something poetic to give her in response.
• 5/1 (but backdated to April because we were waiting on other threads to finish up) | With Shen Qinqiu | Pyra talks to Shen Qinqiu after her chat with Xie Lian and Wei Wuxian, and about how she believes that the latter fears her. She's devastated. She tells him that the reason she believes this is that because she told WWX that she is a weapon... and, guilt-ridden, she decides that he ought to know as well. She tells him, and he accepts her anyways, telling her that she's not selfish if she wants to stay with others.
• 5/6 | With Shen Qinqiu | After the previous event, Pyra also decides to apologize to Shen Qinqiu for her behavior... and waddayano, he beats her to the punch! She asks him that if she ever were to lose control, that he will be the one to claim her to try to stop her; which, for Pyra, is just one more added layer of protection in case she loses control (like with Akira promises to destroy her if she loses control). He agrees... and with that condition resolved, She brings him to Elysium where he meets Mythra. (thread ongoing)
• 5/4 | With Wei Wuxian | Late in Pyra's birthday party, Wei Wuxian finally finds and speaks with her, except she's stupid-drunk. She tries to make an apology to him. Then he offers to make a seal for her; that makes her extraordinarily happy (one more level of protection if she loses control, yay!), but it makes him irked all of a sudden. She asks him what's wrong, he says he's tired, and they get back on topic to the seal. She says she'll tell him anything, and he asks if she likes anyone romantically. Pyra answers yes! And before he leaves she asks him for a kiss, and he obliges. Finally she feels happy.
• 5/4 | With Akira | Akira gets both her and Mythra flowers for their birthday.......... Which is really, really, really sweet. Akira is sweet, he's so sweet. She teases him that Mythra would like to punch him for her brithday, he teases back (but it goes over Pyra's head), and then when he reveals that he's joking!! Mythra takes him into Elysium to punch him back out of it. But, it made the both of them very happy.

• 6/11 | With Shen Qingqiu | Pyra and Shen Qingqiu venture into the forest together, with SQQ's interest being to encounter beasts. And they do encounter quite a bit! Except they also encounter a guardianthread still pending but that is what is gonna happen-- which SQQ nearly gets himself killed by. Mythra manifests because of it and gets him out of there. This thread is most likely going to be both very cute (as currently they're just around a fire chatting about things), but also very sad (because near-death), and guilt-ridden (because Mythra is appearing)... but it's also still underway.
• 6/17 | With Tristan | Mythra, now having appeared, decides to recreate a sort of ritual with Tristan in the manner of the ceremony which she had first awakened 500 hundred years ago. It's not exactly the same, but it's close enough.
• 6/12 | With Shen Qingqiu | SQQ and Pyra dance together. She feels very self-conscious and nervous, and she finds that she can't exactly look away from his smile. She realizes that he's become a person that she greatly cares for and admires. She also realizes that she's... well, her feelings are quite dangerous for him as well. She's recognizing that she's fallen for him. Thread still pending.
• 6/12 | With Xie Lian | It's a cute thread with Xie Lian (they're always cute!) where they reminisce about how long it's been...
• 6/20 | With Wei Wuxian | OH BOY lots to unpack here. Basically, WWX tells her that Lan Wangji loves him... and Pyra realizes that she shouldn't be getting in the way of someone's love for another who has suffered so much. She realizes that she's never going to be a part of what those two might have together, and that it would be a terrible, terrible attempt on her part for even daring. As if get it off of her chest and try to simply let those feelings go, she confesses to him, because she's learned at least that it's important to tell others how one feels, because she doesn't want to not say it and him disappear the next day (or, ya know, die), thus leaving her with another regret. She tells him that she wants him to not kiss someone and not talk to them afterwards about it (as they did), because she thought when he kissed her before, it was something special. Apparently not special enough, though, and he says "I'm sorry" in response to her confession, and she interprets that as if he's sorry he can't return her feelings. She feels a bit used because of it, since they kissed. ...But she's also bad at talking about her own feelings and confrontation, so that's pretty much on her, tbh. They are no bueno for each other, and it's like they break up when they hadn't been together to begin with. It breaks her heart though, and she realizes that what she's been feeling for him was both wonderful and terrible. Mythra takes over because Pyra cannot cope, but before Mythra can tell him to fuck off for good, Wei Wuxian leaves.
• 6/25 | With Berkut | FINALLY Berkut and Pyra reunite! It's been a long while, and Pyra is glad to see that Berkut is basically............. back to his own prideful self, after the last time she had met with him. It's a refreshing normalcy, even if he's still a total ass. She tells him he's a good leader, and she believes he's a good leader not necessarily because he's noble, but because... he keeps his emotions in check.
July 2019
• 7/1 | With Tristan, Xie Lian | They defeat the second forest guardian at last. Mythra feels as a little bit like she did something right... but also maybe not, because apparently the trees and forest-folk are even angrier in the second july event. But in her network post, she says she'll take the blame because... hey, she's used to being blamed, when it seems that other people aren't to happy about her announcing that the second guardian is killed. At least they made it to the edge of the forest, that counts for something, right?
• 7/4 | With Kaoru | Pyra realizes that she's pretty useless when it comes to fighting.
• 7/4 | With Tristan | Pyra tries to open up about her feelings. And to Tristan's credit, he was able to get this out of her, that she was taken down to earth against her will, and he offers her sympathy. She admits that she's fallen in love with others before, and that it's painful. He offers his sympathy and his love (platonic) in return, but in regards to their last conversation, it seems that his sympathy isn't quite enough. If anything, knowing that he's a spirit and has had a lifetime+ of sadness, she should be able to do the same and just... continue being sad. And she determines that that is okay, so long as she is able to see that others are happy. That's all that matters.
• ?/? | With Wei Wuxian | This thread doesn't actually have an IC date yet. Wei Wuxian and Pyra talk. Again, this time after reading each other's diaries from the quest reward, in which she realizes that he's basically feelings for Lan Wangji all along. He forces a smile and pretends he's happy and that she's never hurt his heart, but she calls him out. He says she should claim happiness for herself, but she's too focused on his own, and how much she seems to have impeded it. It seems fairly obvious to her that she was only in the way of something that would make him happier sooner. She's sorry that she took up any place in his heart, when she shouldn't have been there in the first place.
• 7/10 | With Berkut | Flower event. Things are silly first, and then they both get struck by falling ~in wuv~ with each other. Of course she falls too easily and doesn't question a damn thing about it, because she's broken and grieving and all the more vulnerable. At least she gets to experience love and being loved in return for the first time, right? She gets to feel happiness and joy for once, right? What it's like to be loved, right? It's a small reprieve, if nothing else, but it's going to be terrible when the enchantment fades.
• 7/11 | With Shen Qingqiu | ...And technically This thread with him as well. She's basically saying that things left unsaid is bad! He should talk to his disciple s'more! Because Mikhail left and she's only been sadder since in addition to... everything above. The impatience her flower made her realize that... sometimes, it's good to be a little more hasty, when people may vanish at any moment.
• 7/21 | With Somnus | Pyra gets tree'd. She tells him what might cure the enchantment, a kiss or tears, as those had been two keys to undoing spells in the past. He kisses her on a branch, it doesn't work. He asks her to name someone that might cry for her... she replies that she would never want a friend to cry for her. She's stuck as a tree, the end. Pyra/Mythra's finally broken, y'all.
