[ Hi hello he's in a state of agitated, frenetic despair by now, wanting desperately to go to Pyra's house... Pyra's former house... no, he can't think like that, Pyra's house, and demanding to speak to Mythra, but at the same time knowing he'll only make things that much worse by disturbing her. So he's been climbing the walls, pacing back and forth, getting up, sitting down, actually rolling around on the floor—and then the new message alert chimes.
He scrambles to his desk, knocking over a chair in the process...
oh.
He has his doubts about "fine" but at least she still exists in this world. That's counts for something, at least. He rights his chair and pulls it up to his desk; and then bangs his head against the top of it a few times, before shakily typing out this reply: ]
[ It would be easy to blame this man for hurting Pyra, and by extension her. It would so easy to lash out in response. But she believes she knows him well enough that he didn't intend to make her feel bad-- ah, no. That's not it. He didn't make them do anything, it was their own feelings. Feelings that belong to them, unrequited or not. If they were hurt, it was because they had felt too much. She doubts that this will be the last time; such is the nature of having human emotions imprinted upon them, they can't be truly rid of them. That's Mythra's impulsive response.
...Not that Pyra wants that. Those are feelings that she's trying to convince both of them that they're worth something, that having them is a gift. The kiss meant something to them. Their conversations did. Everything did, even if unrequited. That's why it hurts.... But it's also why she can wish him well, to be with someone from his world, and for her to not be interfere. The happy ending that she sees for him doesn't involve her; and if this is a world of fairy tales, he might be able to have it here.
In any case, Pyra and Mythra will have to talk among themselves, perhaps others, and... and figure things out. But they're not going to be able to do that just a day after, especially not when so-- annoying emotional. Pyra needs to rest, Mythra needs to cool her head. ]
