[ IMPRESSIONS ]

♢ Appearance: Gif! She's a slender thicc af has a terrible choice of shorts woman appearing somewhere in her early 20's. She has impeccable posture, polite.  Her figurine to scale puts her at 5'6".

She has the core crystal (the teal/emerald cross-shaped gem) situated at the top of her chest, and while it looks like it's a part of her outfit, it is actually a part of her. Her body is a construct, mimicking that of a normal human (she may have shallow cuts and bleed slightly); however, for anything deeper, see here for what she looks like below the skin.

Additionally, she has ether lines that appear on her body under certain circumstances. Also of importance is how Pyra may appear to a perceptive-enough character. An emotionally observant person might notice that she looks incredibly sorrowful despite the kindness in her eyes or her smile. Content warning: The most perceptive of characters might accurately be able to pick up that she looks as if she wishes to die. Does she actually want to die? No, not really, she actually likes living! But she feels as if there is no other choice in order to save the world she loves.

♢ Voice: Kind, genuine. Sorrowful. See here for a cutscene! When introducing herself, it's always with a smile and a happy, melodic trill in her tone. She often speaks with thoughtful pauses, taking her time before she responds. She levelly keeps her eyes upon the expression of whoever is speaking to her, very ever rarely wavering her gaze. Pyra also tends to apologize for things she doesn't need to apologize for, or apologize for things she's not actually regretful for either. Occasionally, she uses "we". Shifts tone and level of casualness/politeness depending on with whom she speaks.

♢ Aura: Pyra is glowing with energy, and those who are able to sense that energy will be able to pick up the element of fire-- except, it's not truly fire; instead, it will feel as if something is attempting to mimic it, or more accurately, diminish and weaken itself to be in a softer, fire-like state. For those able to tell, Pyra has a very, VERY heavy seal placed upon her, and actually one more beyond that.  If you have a muse that decides to look past those two seals and really analyze that energy that mimics fire, the energy may feel perfect and divine, as if it encompasses the single source of All (and in her canon, it does: it can become any other energy and element, and it can simultaneously be their opposite and weakness). Her ultimate power TM is derived from this Xeno-metaverse's entity called the Conduit, which is the true multi-dimensional God (as opposed to her Father, who is just the creator-god of her world). This power is neither good nor evil, but purely neutral. The Conduit never exists in the same universe for too long.

♢ Soul: Souls exist in her world; we see her pull both Rex into her when he dies (and we also see Addam in Elysium). I HEADCANON that she does, in fact... have something similar enough to it. What does her it look like, though, if your character can sense it/see it? In relation to Xenoblade Chronicles 1, I believe that it looks like this: a brilliant crystalline light, and not exactly a traditional wispy-like human soul. There is no real "Pyra", or Mythra/Pneuma. Her being is the entity that is the crystal core processor. For those who are more sensitive to these sorts of energies, this entity might feel more akin to a computer, while the body and personality that is Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma is a construct around that energy. Also, that energy is also a its own pocket-dimension.

Having a human body and human emotions came from being stolen from her Father (the creator-god of her particular universe in the wide expanse that is Xenoverse) and imprinted with the bare bones of humanity. Her appearance and feelings are similar to a corruption that surrounds something that should be pure. Her humanity isn't part of that core crystal, it's extra, but for some reason... it just won't be separated from what she has become. Her core is basically a processor for the creator-god of her world, taking in all evolutionary data all the time, made mostly to observe, but this human business is messing her functions up! She's sentimental now, oh no! She doesn't want to destroy the world, how awful!

...Now, for those who really really really want to dig deeper, they will spot more fragmentation, as if she is not whole. Pyra used to be part of this three-tier entity a long-ass time ago (her and her two "brothers" functioned as one): the Trinity Processor that monitored and protected the Conduit. She's ultimately a sixth of what that unified entity used to be before the world was destroyed. However, Pyra doesn't remember that completely herself (those memories are very old and locked), but she is aware that she's not fully herself, or not as she should be. So TL;DR, She's a mess. The entity that is her is a mess, and to those who can sense magic/gods/souls/whatever, she will look and feel like a mess.

♢ Core Crystal: Okay so. If you stare at it too long, it may draw you in. The world will grow muted around you, you'll hear only your own heartbeat,  and it will seem to shine as if it's the only thing that exists in the world. It has this tempting, ominous, and mysterious property to it when looked at too closely, but it can generally be ignored overall.

Those keen to its energy may realize that it has a strange presence to it, as if it is acutely observing everything that occurs around it, while simultaneously passively pulling energy and information into it. It also gives energy out in the form of a gentle, indecipherable energy and light, but this energy isn't so much as profound as it is very, very passive (it's most likely not going to be the first thing you notice about her). For those even more sensitive...

To reiterate, it will feel almost perfect as to be divine, encompassing a universal energy from which everything is derived, and into which everything can be returned. In canon, the golden power she emits in her true form undoes whatever comes in contact with it, returning to its most basic energy state.

♢ Abilities: Pyra's physically strong and durable on her own, but this form of hers is actually the weakest one she's taken. (See "other" for a more detailed explanation on her other forms.) Among other things, she can survive falls from stories high, use a sword, she can summon fire at will (it's not technically fire but w/e), even create a sun, and she can melt and burn things. Physically speaking she has capabilities above a normal human's, such as strength/speed/endurance. For more information, check out the abilities section of any app on this character's page!

♢ Foresight: In Xenoblade Chronicles 1/2, a central part of the story is the ability to see and change the future. Pyra, as her form is sealed, does not have this ability. Mythra and Pneuma do, but they do not use constantly. If they ever do use it, it will be with permission.

♢ Other: Pyra is not human.  Pyra is introduced to us in canon as a Blade, a sort of being born from a core crystal and given life by their Driver-- a kind of living weapon. Blades follow the will of their Driver, they live with their Driver, and when their Driver dies, so do they... only to be awakened by the next Driver without any memories of their previous life. But Pyra isn't just any Blade, she is an Aeigs/Holy Grail-- the Master Blade-- one of only three Aeigses that exist in her canon. As an Aegis, Pyra does not lose her memories when her previous Driver dies, and she is more independent than most Blades. But in fact, Pyra isn't just a Blade...

...Or a Blade at all, either. Pyra is part of a three-split personality. Mythra is the main personality who "created" Pyra. Mythra is the Aegis as she has appeared in legends of 500 years ago. The third personality is known as Pneuma, and she is actually the true form of the Aegis. But wait, there's more!

Pneuma (and by extension Mythra/Pyra) is actually one of three core processors of the Trinity Processor, an artificial intelligence that is tied to the energy/meta-dimensional True God(TM) of the Xeno-verse called the Conduit. As canon describes the processors, they are completely autonomous (but also not really? it's confusing). All observed information (primarily, evolutionary/creation data) from every single other core crystal/blade in the world is relayed back to Pneuma, and it has been for millions of years, where it accumulates and condenses for another purpose. Pneuma is stated to have the ability to make whatever she wishes into reality. The Trinity Processor (Pneuma, Ontos, Logos) were the vehicle used to tap the Conduit's power to destroy the world, and then hence rebuild it to the canon 'verse as-is, as the Architect dictated. Their current purpose, according to Logos (and which Pneuma does not verbally dispute), is to fulfill their sacred duty to their Father, the Architect, to end the world once and for all. For whatever reason, Pneuma has the privilege to obliterate the world, not Ontos.
